Chair

Cheryl Graham

Cheryl Graham is the current Karingal Chair and has been serving on the Karingal Board since September 1998.  Cheryl's background in human resources and psychology has brought great depth to the Karingal Board.  Cheryl is a Director of Cookes Graham Consulting, a large provincial psychology practice with offices in Geelong and Werribee.

Deputy Chair

Peter Colman

Peter Colman was co-opted for the Karingal Board in April 2008 to utilise his business acumen and experience and high level financial skills, particularly with the proposed development of a retirement village at Marshall.  Peter is a senior finance professional with extensive experience in the energy industry in Australia and Europe and the mining industry in Australia.  Peter is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Exergen Pty Ltd.

Rod Payne

Rod Payne has been a member of the Karingal Board since November 2000 and has served three terms as Chair.  Rod is a Director at Harwood Andrews Lawyers, specialising in business law.  Rod is also a Director of Vicwest Community Enterprise Ltd which trades as Geelong Community Telco.

David McArthur

David McArthur is Karingal's longest serving Board Director, first joining the Board in 1980.  At the 2010 Annual General Meeting, David completed his fourth term as Chair and now serves as standard Board Director.  David is a Civil Engineer and is employed as a Design Coordinator with the City of Greater Geelong.

Marilyn Blakey

Marilyn Blakey commenced on the Karingal Board in October 2002 after a long career in home and community care services including a position in senior management with the City of Greater Geelong and management of Barwon Carer Respite Centre with Barwon Health.  Marilyn was Deputy Vice President of the Karingal Board until March 2007.

Allan Freeman

Allan Freeman has been a member of the Karingal Board since August 1995 and held the position of Treasurer for 10 years up to March 2007.

Tony Ficca

Tony Ficca was appointed to the Karingal Board in May 2006 to fill a casual vacancy.  Tony is the Director of Finance at St John of God Hospital and formerly Executive Manager of Finance and Company Secretary at GMHBA.

Mark Seller

Mark Seller joined the Karingal Board in February 2003. Mark has experience as Director of the Australian Business Volunteers, GMHBA, as local Chairman for ACCESS Ministries, plus many years as an executive in the oil and gas industry.

Kylie Cirak

Kylie Cirak was appointed to the Karingal Board in March 2010.  Kylie has a background in communications, corporate and community partnerships, stakeholder relationship management and workplace volunteering, fulfilling those roles at global law firm Clifford Chance and Alcoa Australia.  Kylie is a Director of Tiger Grace Consulting, a firm that focuses on building the capacity of the not-for-profit sector.  Kylie is also an Advisory Board Member of the Australian Institute of Community Practice and Governance; a division of Our Community.

Chief Executive Officer

Daryl Starkey

Daryl Starkey has been the CEO of Karingal since 2000.  His previous leadership positions include CEO of Ambulance Service Victoria - South Western Region from 1993 - 1999 and CEO of Wakefield Private Hospital in Adelaide from 1988 - 1992.

General Manager - Karingal Life Options

Robyn Bradshaw

Robyn Bradshaw has been with Karingal since 1999. She has been General Manager of Karingal Life Options since 2011.  Prior to this, she was the General Manager of Karingal Community Living (2003 - 2011) and Karalee (Karingal Aged Living) from 2007.  Robyn has worked in the disability field throughout her career and has held management roles with the Department of Human Services.

General Manager - MatchWorks

Michael Wasley

Michael Wasley has been with Karingal since 1996. He has been the General Manager of MatchWorks since 2008.  Prior to this, he was a MatchWorks Operations Manager (2003 - 2008).  Michael's first appointment was with SupportWorks as Employment Trainer and Employment Consultant and moved across to MatchWorks at the start of Job Network in 1998.

General Manager - Strategic Development

Julie Graham has been with Karingal since 1996. She has been General Manager of Karingal Strategic Development since 2011.  Prior to this, she was the General Manager of Karingal Corporate Services (2008 - 2011) and General Manager of MatchWorks (2002 - 2008).  Julie's first appointment was with SupportWorks as Employment Trainer and Employment Consultant.  She then moved across to MatchWorks at the start of Job Network in 1998.

Manager - Risk Management

Jeff Gibbons

Jeff Gibbons has been with Karingal since 1986.  He has been the Risk Manager since 2003.  For 18 months during 2008-09, Jeff was seconded to Disability Opportunities Victoria (now Konnections) as acting Chief Executive Officer.  Jeff has had a number of mangement positions within Karingal, including Manager of Mollers Lane Plant Farm and Industries and General Manager of MLI Services.

General Manager - Corporate Services

Lyndelle Zuccolin
Lyndelle Zuccolin has been with Karingal since 2008.  She has been the General Manager of Karingal Corporate Services since 2011.  Prior to this, Lyndelle was the Karingal Chief Financial Officer (2008 - 2011).  Lyndelle is a Certified Practising Accountant and prior to Karingal was the Financial Controller for DC Shoes Asia Pacific (a part of the Quiksilver group) and an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Christine Harding

Christine commenced with Karingal as General Manager of Karingal Community Living in February 2011.  Previous management positions have been with the Department of Human Services and Vision Australia, as well as in educational consultancy and as a school principal.
